I was looking at the light.

I was driving down the hill on Fairview heading towards the golf course and I was turning left on the light, not paying attention to on-coming traffic. I approached the light, almost turned left, until my friend in the passenger seat screamed at me because she thought a car was going straight towards us while it wasn't... it was turning left also (which is the other direction). So, when she screamed I swerved to the right and almost hit another car. It was a near death experience... almost.
