SNOW
As we have all noticed, we have been getting some snow lately and the roads were pretty bad this past weekend. Seeing the snow trucks is usually a let-down because if they're clearing the roads, that means we'll have school. However, in my situation, I was hoping to see that snow truck. In my neighborhood, the snow truck only went on the main road that leads all the way through the neighborhood. Unfortunately I don't live on the main road of the neighborhood so my road wasn't cleared at all. It was actually more packed down from cars repeatedly driving over it and turning the snow into slush, which later turned to ice. Another point I should add about my street is that it starts off as a hill... un upward hill... which is hard to get up if there is ice on it. My dad (deciding not to buy a car with 4-wheel-drive) had a bit of trouble getting up the hill. In fact, his car didn't make it up our street at all. He attempted about 10 times, and failed about 10 times. After many failed attempts, he decided to park his car at the bottom of the hill and walk up to the house.
